Today I...

...did a bit of drawing in my sketchbook after walking to the shop...

... and stamped my website onto 60 business cards.

Since my last (proper) post...

I have...

done a 41 and a half hour week at my supposed to be part-time job,

this has killed my knees.
but only one more shift tomorrow then I have a whole week off that includes my birthday!
refused to sign an agreement meaning work could get me to work more than 48 hours a week.

finished all the crocheting for a cushion cover I'm making for the shop.

drawn out a lot of business cards.

painted some wooden pegs.

seen 3 kids dressed as Woody, 4 kids dressed as Buzz Lightyear, 2 kids dressed as Jesse and 1 kid wearing a Rex T-shirt.

also seen one mum get mad that her child had lost his Woody toy and the child didn't seem to care at all.

I think she should have given me the Woody toy.

decided that saving money by buying cheap shampoo and no conditioner isn't worth the feeling of having dirty hair just after I've washed it and caved and bought new shampoo and some conditioner.

today my hair feels clean.

I am looking forward to...

finishing my shift tomorrow and having a week to actually do things rather than just being knackered.

getting the film from the Praktica developed. Fingers crossed it worked!

taking photos.

doing some drawing.

making things.

finishing off a load of stuff on my 'to do' list

my birthday!

actually seeing Will for a substantial amount of time.

Sale

Just a quick reminder that my Christmas In July sale ends tomorrow (25th) so be sure to go check it out while you still have the chance!

In other news I'm hoping it won't be too much longer before I get some prints in the shop so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Foxgloves and a Poppy

An illustration for your pleasure.

And for my pleasure, my very first poppy flowered!!
I didn't think they'd flower this year but I went out this morning to check on them and there it was, all pretty.
(and a little windswept and rained on)

I'm so proud :)

Christmas in July is basically a chance for everyone to take part in a summer sale over at Etsy. (It's not actually to do with christmas)

I've decided to put some offers on some of my items, so go have a look:

Mushroom Notebook

Anchor Brooch

Seal Pup Tote
Crochet Necklace
Set of Postcards

Some reduced prices and some free postage.
Sale ends on the 25th July.

Thanks for looking :)

Victoria and Albert

We got a return ticket into Kings Cross and then walked to the Victoria and Albert Museum. We wandered around in there and did some drawing and went in some small spaces and saw a heron on the Serpentine and it was a good day.

Today my legs feel like they are going to fall off from walking so far but it was worth it.
Now I'm excited to finish off the last few frames on the Praktica and get it developed! Hope it worked...
