Diamonds and Hearts

New in the shop.
Painted yesterday afternoon and sewn together last night while watching Hellboy II.

Now we're going to the bank which is never fun, but at least the weather's nice today :)

Mask

I drew this vaguely in my sketchbook a couple of weeks ago and wasn't really sure where to go with it but I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Day Out

Myself and William met up with Tom and headed over to Kemistry for the Saul Bass exhibit. I love his film posters. Every poster I'd be 'ooooh this is my favourite one' then I'd look at the next one and be 'ooooh this is my favourite one' then I'd go back to one I'd already looked at and be 'oooh no this is my favourite one' and so on.
Then we essentially just wandered the day away which managed to include a free taste of saki at the Japan Centre.
I was glad we managed to miss the rain until the short walk home and I was even more glad to rest my sore walking feet and have some miso soup :)

Black Swan

Yesterday we finally got to see Black Swan.
Oh my. When the credits came up at the end I realised I was literally a little out of breath.
Amazing film.

Also have you seen the special teaser posters?
Our Odeon had one up before the more 'normal' poster came out and then William told me there was a whole set.
They're beautiful. I wish more posters still looked like this.
