The Old Guard

 i was watching a video

 and thought, "this music is cool, sounds similar to Kimya Dawson/like it should be on the Juno soundtrack. i wonder what it is" 

as seen in the screenshot, what looks like maybe a tape insert popped up on the screen so i paused and went back and searched the words i could see and it came up with a bandcamp link

 so i clicked on it and there it was, the first track is the one used in the video. and it turns out the album was made in 1987 by an 11 year old with her dad and i just love it. i love it. 

there's so much stuff out there. i love to look up recommendations and click on links. it's so rewarding to put in even the smallest amount of effort.
