Happisburgh

The cliffs along this coast are literally falling away, people have lost their homes and others are getting closer and closer. It's terribly sad but I can't help but also find it quite beautiful.

Connected

Hi there!
This morning we finally got connected to the internet. At first I was a little worried that I was going to end up wasting a lot of time and not getting any work done but after today I'm thinking it's more likely that what I do look at online is going to help be an extra inspiration and therefore help to increase my work rate. After a few sessions catching up on things I've missed I'm going to make sure I'm sensible in my internet usage and while not being on the computer longer than necessary I'm also going to make sure I spend my time looking at inspiring arty things rather than wasting time on things that don't actually interest me all that much. Sounds silly actually mentioning it, why would I ever have spent my time doing things that aren't actually interesting, but I'm sure I'm not the only one!
I'm also looking forward to giving the blog a bit more attention starting with some catch up from the past 4 months.

The cockerel weather vane on top of the cathedral is actually as big as a donkey.
I've been learning Norwich facts.

Stitching Squares

The most recent addition to the shop.
It's inspired by traditional Latvian costume, the patterns and colours are so lovely.
There's also a selection of hats available.

It's stupidly hot at the moment. I want to wear layers!! Hopefully autumn will kick in soon.
The computer is telling me I only have 3 minutes left so I'm off.

Hope you're enjoying the weather where you are more than I am!

Hello

I'm not dead, I just don't have the internet (which I'll admit is almost the same thing).
We are all moved and stuff and Norwich is lovely but I'm yet to find a job so our internet is 60 mins a day for free in the library which is not as much time as you'd think.
It's quite nice actually, not having the internet at home, just not very useful.

Rapeseed

I've been uploading my flickr in fits and bursts so go check it out and I also suggest you go buy yourself or someone you like something from my shop, you get something nice (or the pleasure of giving something nice) and I get a step closer to being able to pay my rent so it's a win win situation.

Anyway, I'm going to go apply to be a grotto helper.
I can't decide whether this is awesome or depressing.

p.s. incase you're wondering, that comic is a true story.
p.ps. incase you don't know, rape as in rapeseed, as in the stuff that grows in fields and gives people hayfever.
