Cromer
I've been having problems with image quality on here and it's starting to really bug me.
When Patreon announced it's new pricing I set one up so if I ever did use Patreon I'd get the founder perks. Not to be down on myself but I'm not expecting anyone to pledge yet BUT you can do public posts so I thought why not use that as a platform for when the images getting ruined here would be too annoying.
So when it's art, I think I'll post over there and link to it from here. For now it seems like the best solution for me but I don't know, I'll keep trying to figure things out.
Anyway, here is the post on Patreon with some photos and the drawings I did on some of them ^-^

12th Anniversary

We had our 12th anniversary at the start of the month so took a day off and went to Yarmouth for the Sealife Centre. I love aquariums, they're a perfect mixture of interesting and relaxing. After the aquarium we went through the arcades before heading home. Here are a lot of photos and a video of aquarium clips ^_^

It wasn't this one but we got to touch a starfish! It was so cool, they felt kind of hollow but also chunky and solid.

The penguin enclosure was really cool, I loved being able to see them above and below water at the same time like that.

The dwarf crocodiles were so pretty and barely moved. We stopped to draw them. At places like this I always get a bit overwhelmed by how lucky we are to be able to see these animals at all let alone so closely.

I knew the aquarium had an octopus but I didn't think we'd get to see it seeing as they hide so well and when we first got to the tank they were no where to be seen but I found it tucked up in a corner and almost as soon as we noticed it it did some laps of the tank and stretched about and really showed off before going back up into the corner. We got super lucky ^_^

Will got me this adorable octopus key ring from the gift shop which went straight on my bag and we had chips by the sea before heading off to the arcades.

We got a bag of candy floss on the way back to the train station and also some juice to balance it all out.
It was such a nice day and we got so lucky with the weather. It felt really good to go do something and it left me feeling all relaxed and inspired and ready to be better at life lol.

Putting My Feet In The Sea

Mum and dad came to visit the weekend after my birthday and when they asked what I would like to do I said to put my feet in the sea, so we went off to Cromer :)

And put my feet in the sea I did. I could stand in the sea all day, I love it so much.

Thoughts of chips covered in salt and vinegar persuaded me to leave the beach and we went in search of food.

It was worth it. Those chips were goooood ^_^

There are goats living on the cliffs for grazing! They were chilling out on a ledge, it was a pretty hot day. I'd love to see them roaming about on the steeper sections.

On the way home we drove round the coast and stopped off at Happisburgh.

I've only been once before, a few years ago, and how much more it's eroded is so strange. Places I remember standing are literally not there anymore. Coasts are scary business. Apparently you need to be careful in the water because of debris but it's still a beautiful beach (I don't have a photo of where you would hang out but trust me, it looked lovely) and there's the lighthouse to see too.

As well as taking me to the seaside they also added to how lucky I was on my birthday and gave me some great presents and bought cake so, you know, it was a pretty awesome weekend. Thank you mum and dad ^_^
Here's a video also so you can see the sea in motion.
