Recent Makes ~ The Week Before The Market Zine

The Week Before The Market The Week Before The Market The Week Before The Market

I'd had a hankering to make a new zine for a while and decided that a little zine about the week before the market would be a nice thing to have at the market. It turned out pretty good (if I do say so myself) so I've listed it on Etsy and Folksy. It comes with a free sticker. Yay, free stuff!
I should make zines more often, it's really fun. This one is made from just a single sheet of A4 folded in a clever way to make a little 8 page booklet (including front and back). One of the few skills I actually learnt at uni and it amazes me every time.

Even though it didn't turn out all that great sales wise the market looked good so here are some photos.

I'm still a little fed up so I don't really have anything else to say about it but hopefully I'll get some new things listed online during this week. I have quite a bit of work to do but I might just go play Skyrim for the rest of the afternoon...

Riverside Walk

Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled

Over this weekend mum and dad came to visit, on the Saturday we took a walk along the river. Finding the kids with the massive pike was amazing, I had no idea there were fish that size in the river and they were kind enough to let us take photos. (After weighing it they put it put it back. 13 pounds!) We circled back round to the cathedral and mum and dad had tea and I had extra dark hot chocolate. So good.

It was a pretty awesome weekend, just hanging out. Good to finally see them this year. Now back to work. My to do list is ever growing and on top of that, the market is all of a sudden less than 2 weeks away. eep.
