Today my Granddad turns 88! I can't get my head around being around for that long, imagine all the things that have happened in that lifetime. Crazy.

Week 28

Day 190 - Will's paintings in our living room.



Day 191 - I made meringue with an egg white I had leftover from making cookies.



Day 192 - Fabric on my studio floor waiting to become linings for pouches.



Day 193 - I took a shine to this start of tape piece.



Day 194 - Accidental flower growing in our back garden.



Day 195 - This guy had attached himself to the underneath of our bathroom door. He had one hell of a grip but wasn't moving much. We put him outside.

A Few Things From A Few Days

Homemade cookies, a drawing William, my lap, our garden.

It's so hot right now, I don't know what to do with myself.

Cemetery Mushrooms

Found these mushrooms on the edge of the cemetery. Don't what they are (maybe this) but they're pretty cool.

Week 27

Day 183 - Fabric bits drying.



Day 184 - My first lined crochet pouch, it ended up with a zip on it but my zip attaching needs practise.



Day 185 - A rubbish photo but the only one I took that day.



Day 186 - My little red sewing machine.



Day 187 - Buttons in the sun. They're slowly, slowly getting sorted.



Day 188 - BBQ is the best way to cook sausages.

These envelopes are such a cute idea.
These handmade clothes are so pretty.
I'm half way through reading Persepolis. It's really interesting.
We went to see Despicable Me 2 and laughed. A lot.

BBQ Latte Times

Seeing as the weather has been like it's actually summer the past few days we thought we'd have a little BBQ and Will made peanut butter iced lattes. Oh my god, yum!



There was a lot of pigeon drama going on in our garden but these two mostly kept out of it, being pretty in the sunset instead (then they weren't so pretty but I shan't talk about such things).



Our old friend Pretty Cat turned up too.
