House Mess Part One

Our house is a mess at the moment. It looks like we've just moved in or something.
We weren't really using the front room and our studio upstairs was just a pile of stuff so Will has moved downstairs. This means a lot of stuff has been put in piles on the floor and anywhere else.
Everything being different has made for an urge to photograph all the little details so here is the first of 2 posts showing a few bits of our mess.
I'm really excited to sort out my studio so it's usable again. I have no idea where to start though.

£9.75 ~ Checks and Hearts

I found a skirt and a jumper and William found himself a shirt.
The best bit of these is that whoever owned the skirt first added a piece of velcro to the top button and stitched the button onto the buttonhole side so it still looks like it's done up with a button. I might change it back but I think it's pretty awesome.
I don't think I've ever owned any clothing with hearts on before, I'm turning into such a girl.

XL Man

I bought some men's pyjama trousers and discovered that the correct size for me was XL. At first I was like 'WTF, XL, seriously, I'm an extra large man?!'



Then I was like 'these fit really nice, they're not cutting in or falling down. I don't really care what size is on the label, they're so damn comfy!'



Then I was like 'hell yeah extra large man, my hips and I will take over the world.'

What My Phone Saw ~ August

August according to my phone:
Mum and Dad in Wroxham.
One of the things our radiator said this month.
Tasty cold treats.
Garden face/sleepy morning face.
Wall.
Bunting.
Tape/buttons.
Breakfast muffin.
Courgettes with faces.
Awesome tiles/knitting.
Some free minicards/venturing into the Star Wars box.
Meeting a cat/having a cup of tea.
Will's gangsta/in the men's fitting room.

Monthly Music Exchange #1

I was looking through some of my old posts the other day and it really reminded me one of the main reasons I like blogging, it was so good to look back and see what I was up to and what was interesting me and such like. I came across a few music video posts and I thought I'd make it a monthly occurrence so I can look back and see what I just couldn't stop listening to.



Right now I'm in love with this song. I have the whole album (Soviet Kitsch) on repeat at the minute but every time this song starts it makes me laugh, it's quite different for Regina Spektor and any song with made up words like 'pizzaterian' wins my vote.

I'd love it if you left comments with any songs/bands you just can't stop listening to at the moment, it's always good to be introduced to something new or reminded of something you haven't listened to in a while.
