Another little drawing project completed. It may only be 23 of the 31 days but once I started I did it every day ^_^

A Monday

Last week we found a day where we could both not work and headed off to the castle.



I love medieval illustration. This looks like it could have been drawn by someone that's around now.



We take pride in using all the displays aimed to amuse/teach children. Look at our arch! When we came across it it appeared the people before us failed because they didn't use all the blocks. Rookie mistake.



There were all these origami cranes hung up in the birds room. There were all different colours and some were made of maps too. It looked pretty cool.



I reckon this guy agrees.

Crochet ~ Little Oakley

I'm really pleased with this guy in his little acorn cap. He's in issue 24 of Simply Crochet and I love how they've styled the photo, especially those big shiny conkers.
Autumn is the best.

100 Days ~ 84 to 100!

Day 84 I drew this with my eyes closed and it makes me laugh so hard every time I look at it.

Day 100! I did it! I seriously thought I'd miss a day and give up not far into this so I'm really chuffed that I've managed it.
I'm thinking about starting a new one after inktober. I just need to decide on a new theme.

In September I'd thought about doing Inktober this year and then a few days into October I realised I hadn't started it and due to my weird little mind this meant I couldn't do it seeing as I wouldn't have the full set. About a week into October I figured I should just do it anyway and learn to cope with the fact there wouldn't be the full 31 days. So I am doing an ink drawing a day for October, I just started on the ninth rather than the first.
It wasn't until day 11 that I found the time to actually sit at a table with a brush. I love inking with a brush and in the back of my mind that is what I was thinking doing Inktober would help me with. Any extra drawing is good though so I'm pleased to have done the pen drawings too. Hopefully I'll get a few more brush drawings done by the end of the month.
